Review from Pierson

Aside from the obvious, that you need way more information to reach the word count requirement (don't worry, I'm in the same boat), there's not much that I saw that needed improvement.

Make sure you cite your information, though. Use the little numbers in brackets at least after each section, if all the information in the section came from a single source. As it is, I don't see any citations in any of the sections.

In that same vein, the references section could be a little more organized, as the first two references are numbered, and the second two are bullet points. I think citing the sources in the text will fix that though.

I like that you've given examples of both the borrowed English words, and the difference in speech between the younger and older speakers of the language, the only thing I would suggest is using bullets to distinguish between the examples and the plain text.

One thing I've seen in most of the other articles that I think would help is one of those IPA charts that highlights the phonemes in Nakanai, and also including their alphabet, if you can find it, into the "Writing System" section.

Newly expanded grammar section

The newly expanded grammar section of this article (as of June / July 2016: diff) is a good addition, but it contains a lot of jargon that appears to be related to the book from which the information is taken.

Sections such as

  Act VP Ben.
  E Baba vitaho-a-le Bubu
  ART baba escort-3ps-3psi/ART Bubu

appear to be presenting a grammar pattern, but they are not clearly labeled and are thus confusing. Presumably, the first line indicates a pattern: Actor/Verb phrase/Benefactor, while the second line illustrates this pattern in an example from the Nakanai language. The meaning of the third line is too obscure to even make a presumption about.

I recommend that Jpkulka, who has made these changes, consider clarifying the text in some manner to make these grammar examples more accessible to the reader. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 12:12, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
