No mention of Anna Nicole Smith in the movie? She played a main character in the movie!

Inspirations?[edit]

"The opening scene in the train station was inspired by The Untouchables (1987 film)" -

I havent seen The Untouchables, but i think it was rather from The Battleship Potemkin, can someone confirm?

Is there a reputable source for the "Just for the Record" title? I mean, is IMDB trivia that reliable? I've had stuff "published" on there before, so how reliable can it be? I do recall Leslie Nielsen on the Tonight Show quoting this alternate title as the original, but I don't know how serious he was or where a video (or transcript) of that interview can be produced. Bomb envelope[edit]

In the spirit of fairness, I'll give everyone time to respond to this before I edit the article. The bomb was not placed in the "Best Actress" envelope, that was just the top envelope on the stack that Jane was pilfering through. The bomb was, in fact, in the "Best Picture" envelope. “Lowest grossing in the series”?[edit]

How is it that the Box Office section mentions this is the lowest grossing film in the series when it grossed $122 million while the second one only grossed $86 million? That should be fixed. PokeHomsar (talk) 23:48, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Because the second one did not only gross $86 million. It grossed $86 million in the United States and Canada. Other countries in the world exist. Websites like Box Office Mojo and The Numbers don't have worldwide grosses for most films prior to the late 1990s.Sudiani (talk) 18:48, 22 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Digesting MOS:FRAC, the logical solution would be to move this article to Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult and use the following to make the title appear as "Naked Gun 33 ¹/₃", without changing the copy-paste value:

Support as WP:COMMONNAME, judging by the article's sources which generally do not use the fraction character. Additionally, MOS:TM goes on to say that Avoid using special characters that [...] simply substitute for English words or letters (e.g., "♥" used for "love", "!" used for "i") or for normal punctuation, unless a significant majority of reliable sources that are independent of the subject consistently include the special character in the subject's name. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi!
