Uncategorized[edit]

The article badly needed extensive copy editing (spelling, grammar, citation style, sentence structure, etc.). Many of the most obvious problems have been addressed, but there are still places where someone will have to go back to source documents to make sense of passages that are not clearly worded. Earth science is not my strongest suit, so I may have inadvertently introduced some factual errors when making a "best guess" about what the original writer intended to convey.
