Interview link

Maybe someone could add this link to a video of a Naomi Watts interview: http://www.videotalent.nl/index.php?playvideo=6cdccbfe737da5c23ebb7d72982ef876 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.58.239.247 (talkcontribs) 10:08, 9 August 2006

Japan

I wonder why her time modeling in Japan was so terrible. Any insight? 68.102.37.191 18:43, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Australian?

I thought she was australian??? y then does it say shes english

She was born in England and has said on record she is British —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.212.192.50 (talk) 01:11, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

So why is she listed now as Australian? 87.194.162.141 (talk) 18:21, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Welsh Australian?

it says that she is a welsh-australian acteress, but she was born, raised and lived in england until she was 8, then lived in wales for another 7 years, why is the english part ignored? is she any more welsh than english? she lived in england for longer, i think it should mention all 3, or even english-australian at the least, as that was where she was born

The Birds remake

So where does this info come from? Lugnuts 09:21, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

On a side note, the IMDb entry has the year of release pushed back to 2011, with no cast/crew attached. You'll need to search for the original film and then click on movie connections. Lugnuts (talk) 09:04, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Photo

That photo of Ms Watts looks very awkward, she wasn't the focus and she just looks like some old crone clinging to that director. Can we get a good proper photo of the lass? JayKeaton 17:07, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

I agree - more to the point, she's having Liev Schreiber's baby; if anything there should be a photo of the two of them together.--72.184.122.86 18:07, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Marriage

I read news reports that Watts and Liev Schreiber got married recently, in order to make their baby be born in wedlock. This should be added!

They are NOT married and Naomi has stated very clearly that they don't need a certificate to show they love each other and that they are very much together. Those reports were false. The whole thing started when Liev, who is known to play pranks on the media, made a joke that they were married however they later confirmed this to be just that, A JOKE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Novadestin (talkcontribs) 03:52, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Edits by 86.88.132.158

This person keeps editing the character name(s) out from Watts' roles in Mulholland Drive as they're "a bit of a spoiler". So what if they are? As far as I'm aware WP is not censored or a site to not include film spoilers. If someone reads a spoiler on here it's their fault for clicking on the article and reading the content in the first place. Lugnuts 19:23, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

You're right. Have there been any such edits since you mentioned them above 4 years ago? The Mysterious El Willstro (talk) 06:15, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
I've had this article on my watchlist since I first joined WP, and I've not seen those edits reappear since I raised this. Thanks. Lugnuts (talk) 10:22, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

Naomi Watts will NOT be in Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Stop editing the page saying she is going to be in HBP as Narcissa Malfoy. It's not true.

I agree - it's NOT confirmed and you're also putting your opinion about her regarding HP in there - NOT fact.

-- 'Raised predominantly in Australia' --

I've removed this from the main page. How is someone who grew up in the UK until she was 14 'predominantly raised in Australia' ? In actual fact she has spent the least amount of her life in Australia, given that she's been in the states for the last decade. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.212.192.50 (talk) 01:17, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Factual error

"crusin for a brusin" comment on Dark side of the moon, was not spoken by Miv {my sister)but by Puddie (Patricia) Peter Watts's second wife from America. Miv did not relocate to Anglesey N.Wales. She and the kids lived in Hay on Wye (Mid Wales)for a short while when she worked for Richard Booth long befor Pete died. After Pete died Nikki and Hugh Roberts(Mivs parents} looked after Ben and Naomi full time to let Miv sort out a living. Nikki and Hugh Kate, Sharon, (Mivs younger sisters} Ben and Naomi later all moved from Shoreham Kent to Anglesey N.Wales. Ben and Naomi attended Bodorgan Primary School where they were taught to speak Welsh.

The comment about Puddie concurs with what Mark Blake says in Pigs Might Fly p195-6 Soarhead77 (talk) 10:48, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

Cf this discussion, I deleted the claim that Myfanwy Watts contributed vocal snippets to "Dark Side of the Moon," since I couldn't find any evidence that this is true. It is established in various locations that Peter Watts' second wife, Patricia, did contribute comments, so presumably this is just understandable confusion. Patricia "Puddie" Watts is credited in the Nick Mason autobiography "Inside Out – A Personal History of Pink Floyd" and in David Gilmour's 1998 letter to Mojo Magazine (where the nickname is spelled "Puddy"), available online here. Of the four citations on this paragraph, the three online articles do not address this issue. I don't have access to the Actors Studio episode, but it seems suspect. --Jeffrw (talk) 09:40, 12 December 2010 (UTC)

Mentalist link

The link to the Mentalist just goes to "mentalist" not to the TV show. I don't know how to fix that.71.63.15.156 (talk) 02:28, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

New son

Liev Schrieber's article states the name of the new son as Nicholas Isaac. Why is this being removed from Naomi Watts article?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kitty16700 (talkcontribs) 10:07, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

I didn't remove it from here, but I did remove it from Liev's article. It could very well be true, but at this point, having googled it, the search only threw up wikipedia and some gossip blog, which means the name is not verifiable at this point. If you have an independant reference, add it back. Hope that helped! Sky83 (talk) 14:07, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
And it's a good thing we removed it because that name turned out to be fake. It has been confirmed that the baby's name is Samuel Kai. This is why Wikipedia has policies regarding the attribution of information to reliable sources. - kollision (talk) 01:54, 16 December 2008 (UTC)

Naomi's boyfriends

this article only mentions heath ledger and the guy she is with now. did she not date anyone for the first 34 years of her life? there needs to be more information in that sectionExcuseme99 (talk) 04:44, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

This woman is NOT Australian. She was born and raised in England and has announced to the world that she considers herself "British". Despite perfecting the Australian accent to sell herself as an "Aussie" in Hollywood, she spent only 8 years here in Australia so I see no reason to describe her as Australian. The days of this country being part of "the British Empire" ended many years ago.
