New article is 2,393 characters long and nominated on the same day. No copyvios detected. Article is well-sourced. Main hook is 63 characters long (ALT1 is 179); both are under 200 character max. and are interesting (I, too prefer ALT1). William Contreras[edit]

I've added a mention of William Contreras's use of the song to the lead. More can be added to the body of the article, as his use of the song has caused a small controversy, with Mets' fans thinking it was played only to offend them. The song's creators have also stated that only Díaz is allowed to use it, but I don't think any official cease and desist has been issued as of yet, so it's probably just in good fun and for publicity.
