Hello,

I added 'United Kingdom' to Nathan Cleverly's birth place as Wales is in the United Kingdom.

I also added 'British' to his Nationality,as the Welsh ARE British.

But both edits keep getting removed?

Are they being removed by a one of those Geographically challenged American mods?

(I'm not an administrator, but I don't think the question really needs one).
No, the edit summary is referring you to WP:UKNOWGOV, which explains Wikipedia's standard treatment for this sort of thing. Note example 4 there, which stops at "England" without adding "United Kingdom" or "Britain". -- John of Reading (talk) 15:09, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

Could you please correct Nathans page by adding the "United Kingdom" to his place of birth,or adding "Nathan Cleverly is a British boxer from Wales" please. I have added "United Kingdom" to his place of birth once but it was removed?

The reason for this is not only is it factual information but by removing "United Kingdom" and "British" from his page is not doing Nathans fame and fortune in the United Kingdom much good. By keep adding just "Wales" and "Welsh" the rest of the United Kingdoms boxing fans are like "Well he is only representing Wales and the Welsh and not representing the whole of his country,so i wont bother being a fan or pay to watch his fights" and this is exactly what is happening.

When anyone is from Wales,England,Scotland you should add they are "British" and from (wichever part of Britain they may be from) or if they are from Wales,England,Scotland,Northern Ireland add they are from the United Kingdom. Its factual information and this is what Wikipedia is about rite, adding factual information?

Thank you!
