Why does Ursa Major appear on the logo? I suspect there's some mythological reason.--Jack Upland (talk) 21:43, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reliability[edit]

@User:2600:1015:B102:B87E:93F:3125:5B6F:2CB9 Your claim is baseless, generalization and propagandist stereotipical portrayal of North Korea that doesnt rely on facts. Such narrative is feelings over facts, their claims doscarded by woshful while experts such as ArmscontrolWonks Jeffrey Lewis took such seriously, he noted multiple times that NK made claims and they demonstrated and achieved what they claimed. Your response is what Hornetzilla88 used and other socked puppets of his, thats how world responded and were proven wrong. You consider SK sources unreliable? Western ones too? Is NK News unreliable? 38 North? The Diplomat? North Korea Tech? ArmsControlWonk? Asahi Shimbun? Yonhap? etc...? 212.15.168.195 (talk) 17:56, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Many of the sources provided are obscure and tabloid for news sources, many of them were written months, if not a year ago, and some that are reliable contain speculation, which is against site rules. ALOT has changed since these were written, if you aren’t aware, there is a peace process going on between North Korea and its adversaries, and two of the agreements included North Korea postponing all missile and satellite launches until further notice, and the other one being that they have since destroyed the Sohae launch site, which is were the previous satellite launches occurred. With this information, it renders the information you are so obsessed in protecting as obsolete and outdated for content, and it is largely unknown when and even if North Korea will ever launch these speculated satellites, as far as you, me, and anyone else knows, they may have outright abandoned the launches overall. 2600:1015:B102:B87E:93F:3125:5B6F:2CB9 (talk) 19:30, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with your narrative that these sources aren't obscure or tabloid as Agence France-Presse is major one for France and the world as whole, JoonAng Daily is one of largest in South Korea rivaling Yonhap and Chosun Ilbo. The Diplomat and NK News are cited, quoted and referenced by CNN and BBC. Sohae hasn't been destroyed/dismantled and information was added in December of 2017 only for someone to claim reliable sourced as unreliable sources as did other few IPs and sockpuppeter Hornetzilla88. 212.15.168.196 (talk) 22:07, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Agence France-Presse (via Financial Express), JoonAng Daily The Straits Times, The Diplomat, and NK News are highly reliable. There was nothing wrong with the content or sourcing. It should be returned. If anyone is engaging in speculation it's you. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 21:34, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, he is speculating as Sohae hasn't been destroyed/dismantled such as engine stand and launch complex with there no being agreement to do so other than unilateral concessions by North Koreans to entice the US to return to diplomacy. They did too with ceasing ICBM launches unilaterally(unofficially anything below including their space program) as it is game of price is right. He isn't aware of fact that CNN, BBC, AP and other major mainstream media outlets have sourced NK News and The Diplomat for example for their news articles be it details from their articles and or people who are part of thoss two. The imformation that was added has been removed long ago by sockpuppeter user with 4 accounts who claimed unreliable sources too as this one too claims in essence as unreliable sources that are used by mainstream media. Previously SamaranEmerald(Hornetzilla88)and other IPs made same baseless claim.212.15.168.196 (talk) 21:58, 14 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Name change[edit]

It seems that the agency has changed name and logo with the latest launch to NATA - swapping the word Development for what appears to be the word Technology, visible in the KCTV reports here and here. Karel Štípek (talk) 14:40, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
