Social democratic[edit]

I think it is right to describe the party this way as this is how the party describes itself and its policies in the 2004 manifesto. For example "We must contrast their [the NPP and the regimes that ruled Ghana before Rawlings] property-owning concept of democracy characterised by the scramble for illegal wealth by the few with our commitment to social justice and functional democracy through the popular participation of the masses in the decision-making process of state." -Fred.195.92.67.76 13:15, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV nomination[edit]

I have raised POV concerns over this line in the main article:

Though this is true, many Ghanaian politicians offer no socio-economic solutions that can be placed on the European and America political spectrum. Therefore, the NDC is only a nominal member of this group.

I don't know Ghanaian politics, and not that much about social democracy; I just know such a claim is general and POV. I would not reject a qualified citation for such a claim, though.--Samuel di Curtisi di Salvadori 23:47, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
