Why revert IL to relevant section of another article?[edit]

I perfectly understood the logic of the first revert, but the second revert is ill-considered. Using Internal links to sections of other articles is useful and entirely proper is to make it easier for readers to cross-link relevant information.[1] The reverted link was to a well-referenced section in the J.W. Knapp Company article discussing in detail the J.W. Knapp Company Building.

If you'd rather have a separate article on the building, you are welcome to spin off that section into a new article. Be my guest. But to revert an internal link with an imperious pronouncement "We write articles on individual buildings..." is more than a bit over the top.Fladrif (talk) 20:39, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I definitely agree with Fladrif here. There are plenty of other examples where NRHP lists link to sections of related articles. NYT ... what's your objection to this? --sanfranman59 (talk) 01:48, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
