Fair use rationale for Image:Nihon Go Gakko - Tacoma.jpg[edit]

Image:Nihon Go Gakko - Tacoma.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Red links[edit]

Just to let people know I will tackle all the red links in the Tacoma section soon. I just finished the Pierce County Exclusive of Tacoma Section, and now I need to let my wrist go die for a bit. There's only so many times you can press backspace before worring about carpal tunnel. EscapeByMusic 20:39, 29 March 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by EscapeByMusic (talkcontribs)

I have reverted you edit for the reason that the redlinks should be fixed by article creation not by just removing them. The places on the list are notable and should have pages created for them. Please don't remove the links just to "fix" redlinks. --Kevmin (talk) 22:25, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ward T. Smith and Bjug Harstad House[edit]

I don't believe this site is listed in the NRHP. It's coded as DR in the NRIS database. I can't locate my list of the codes the NPS uses in their database, but I think this may mean that it was not listed due to owner objection. I've emailed the Washington Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation to see if they can shed any light. Their "Listed Historic Places in Washington" published in December 2009 indicates that the site is on the Washington Heritage Register, but not on the NRHP. Can anyone out there provide a reliable source that says it's listed? --sanfranman59 (talk) 02:07, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nisqually-Sequalitchew Historic District[edit]

Similarly, Nisqually-Sequalitchew Historic District is listed in the NRIS database with a code of DP. I'm pretty sure that this code also means that it wasn't officially listed. Can someone provide a reliable source for this site being on the NRHP? --sanfranman59 (talk) 02:42, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

M/V Kalakala[edit]

Somebody Should Move the M/V Kalakala to the Former Listings Section Because it was Scrapped. --Nutcracker100 (talk) 02:19, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comfort stations[edit]

@TheCatalyst31: Hello. I believe the Longmire Campground and Naranda Falls comfort stations should all be moved to National Register of Historic Places listings in Lewis County, Washington. The NRHP documents list them as situated in Pierce County but they are not. Would you move the lines? I am from the French Wikipedia and not used to your tables. Thierry Caro (talk) 13:03, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Narada Falls Bridge is also to be moved. Thierry Caro (talk) 13:05, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, they are in the wrong county. (This also means that Longmire Historic District is in both counties.) I don't have time to do all of the updates right now, but I will when I get the chance. TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 13:25, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think everything should be up to date now. If you see any spots that I missed, or notice any other listings that are in the wrong place, let me know. TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 00:51, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. There are entries missing here and there. Gamlin Cabin, for instance, is not listed in National Register of Historic Places listings in Sequoia-Kings Canyon National Parks. I'll let you know if I manage to recall others I once stumbled upon. Thierry Caro (talk) 16:04, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@TheCatalyst31: I'll ping you just in case. Thierry Caro (talk) 16:05, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Most of the national park lists are out of date at the very least, since they were created many years ago and don't always get updated with new listings. Fixing those might be too big of a project for me to take on without cutting into my other NRHP-related projects. I'd recommend dropping a note at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places to see if anyone has the time to update those.
