There is more artists on his label and his first artists were ChiChi Glacierz (a female rapper from brooklyn whom been on the scene for years) SixxxJohn (songwriter and producer and rapper i believe) Cree (female singer with songbird voice) Shanell (singer/songwriter/choreographer) you guys need to google or even check his www.compoundent.com website the artists are listed there. and some of those people you list do not exist guys! Correct the information.

Neutrality

These are opinions:

  • At the tender age of twenty-two, Ne-Yo possesses lyrical and musical talent that are far beyond his years.
  • "Let Me Love You" is a glimpse into the mind of a true writer.
  • A master in the art of storytelling,...
  • ...this dynamic entertainer is ready to deliver

Moreover, some phrases are better suited for magazines than an encyclopedia, such as:

Why is This article portrays Shivaji's image as person influenced by Hindu and especially Brahmin ideology, which is completely false. The mention of James Laine's book is unwanted and there was great controversy @ it in India. in the article?

Bold Name

Why is Ne-Yo bold everytime his name is mentioned?

That was because his name was being continuously Wikified throughout the article. I've removed the Wikification marks. As I've noticed recently, this can be a problem if the actual name of the article was different to the name of the individual (for example, if he were [[Ne-Yo (singer)]]). Anyway. It's dealt with. Gay?

Who put that he was gay, I don't think he is. As it says in the "Trivia" section, there were leaked photos of him receiving oral sex by one of his FEMALE backup dancers. I've seen the pictures. He ain't gay.

If you heard that Essence is printing an article that finds Ne-Yo coming out of the closet, then you should wait until the article actually appears. That way, you can use it as a source for a statement about Ne-Yo's sexuality. Or, find a legitimate online source or print source that mentions the upcoming article and use that as a reference. Second Album

I don't know. That is an interesting title as i can remember in another Ne-Yo song him mentioning something about the title. He says " I hop y'all are enjoying "The Truth, The Way, The Problem thus far". But, i think that it was a song not on his album. Possibly one from his album that was never released. Maybe thats where this information came from. I don't know :P What do you think?

Yeah, It was in the song "The Plan", but on some show, it said something about his sophomore album being titled that.

I think it's a bad idea to add information about unreleased material. If it isn't released, it's probably not notable. Further, if it isn't released, it's also difficult to verify and document. -- Mikeblas 13:50, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Was he born in 1979? Because in Teen People magazine it said he was 26 but in another article that i read they said he was 22... which on is it cuz i wannw know how old my fave singer really is!!!!

Hopefully this will kill the controversy:

Ne-Yo's publicist is flatly denying claims that the singer will announce that he's gay during a New York press conference this week and in an upcoming issue of Essence magazine. "Chinese American" vs "Americans of Chinese descent" category

What's the difference? The Chinese American article describes such people as "Americans of Chinese descent". What are the requirements to be in "Americans of _____ descent" and "___ American"? Can anyone clarify? In the current opening article about hot Ne-Yo, it says that he has amassed seven Top 10 hits. Actually, he has had eight so far (whether as lead artist or featured artist). Can somebody change is "important" information in the official article? Fun fact for a chart geek like me: five of his eight Top 10s have peaked at No. 7. Birth date

As with Mariah Carey, Lil' Kim and others, sources differ on his birthday. Contactmusic, which I'm not sure is WP:RS, gives 1979. However, the Billboard database and AllMusic.com, which are definitely RS, give 1982. If Contctmusic is RS, then it's POV to choose one date over another. The 'Notes' tab should be removed

Image for Wiki Article

Hey, folks! I've changed the picture for this page twice, since the current one has a lot of shadows and can be difficult for viewers with lower vision levels to see. Another user has twice changed it back without sufficient dialogue beyond "turn up the brightness on your screen," which is not sufficient for disabled users per Wikipedia:WPACCESS. I've previously added two different photos, but both were reverted by this other user without any constructive dialogue on this talk page. I'm hesitant to change it again, since I don't want this user to continue their Wikipedia:EDITWAR with me. Instead, I'd like some other users to weigh in per Wikipedia:Collaboration first. I'm thinking this picture should be changed to something that's more easily visible for all wiki users. Thoughts? (Also, initiating this conversation for thoughts, but we can request Wikipedia:Third opinion if needed.) Pumpkinspyce (talk) 03:01, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
