Folk songs[edit]

I have removed these two statements:

  • Huw Pudner and Bob Thomas [Skewen] have written a song in the folk style called "The Lock Keepers Daughter" about the Neath Canal.
  • Huw Pudner and Chris Hastings have written a folk song called "The Red Jacket Stream" about the building of this canal.

on the basis I cannot find any evidence for them. All of the web sources just point back to this page. If anyone has any hard evidence, please supply sources, and feel free to reinstate the details. Bob1960evens (talk) 13:40, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Death of Elton[edit]

I have reinstated the date of Elton's death as 1810, after it was changed to 1807 by User:87gabalfa, since Hadfield supports that. If there are other published works that quote 1807, please supply details of the source. Bob1960evens (talk) 21:27, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Glynneath Terminus[edit]

I have not managed to track down any published plans or aspirations for the northern terminus. The 'citation needed' flag is a helpful hint that this an unsubstantiated claim about terminating at the Lamb and Flag. Does the original author have a source for it? It may be quite a good idea, but here is not the place to be floating it. Can anyone find anything stating a long term goal for the North? If not, it would be better not to be there if it is just someone's own research. RobinLeicester (talk) 00:40, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
