Idaho

It has not been confirmed by the record company yet, therefore should not go in the release box! Stop putting it there! Just 'cos it is on the release shedule means nothing! Keep it as TBC untill confirmed by either Nerina or the record company!

Origin

If Nerina was born in Jersey then why is her "origin" listed as South London, UK - which is not only wrong but not even the right country? Esquimo 12:47, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

She has lived in South London for yonks and sounds like a Londoner. NicOatridge

I've corrected the origins part. Nerina was born in London where her mother was a performer. She moved to Jersey at a young age after what she has described as an "unconventional" domestic arrangement (she also spent some time in India at a young age). She is justly proud of her Jersey roots, but she was born in London. There are plenty of web references to her being born in London. Here are a few :-

Unfortunately www.nerinapallot.com is in the process of being rebuilt, or there would be a direct reference. However, if you go to the blog on her MySpace called "London, My Beautiful" date July 14th 2005 (about the London Bombings) she signs off with the following two sentences :- "And I want to think of the city in which I was born. London, my beautiful."

The reason that she sounds so middle-class is nothing to do with her birth in London, and everything to do with the rather posh school that she won a scholarship to.Nopr0700 (talk) 15:21, 24 February 2009 (UTC) nopr0700[reply]

Nerina is not going to the Brit Awards following her wedding, so I have corrected the sentence.

Jongleurs reference[edit]

What's the "jongleurs comedians" bit about her performances in Manchester? I think I've attended pretty much every Manchester show she's ever performed and this doesn't ring any bells!
