Rigghead opencast rail line[edit]

There are two photos of the Rigghead opencast rail line in this article, but there is no further information on what is presumably a rail connection to an opencast coal mine (American: strip mine). Perhaps someone in Ayrshire can provide more details, and maybe even a photo of the mine.
