Untitled[edit]

This page was put together by students with special needs for an English class. The resources used were from our school library, including the book Historic New Lisbon, by: Jayne M. Turner, O'Brien Publishing, Portage, WI, 2004. Jayne M. Turner is our school librarian. She had written the book in 2004 commemorating the city of New Lisbon's Sesquicentennial. Our students wrote a letter to her requesting copyright permission to use part of her book in the Wikipedia entry. Two of the books researched were high school yearbooks from 1929 and 1936 that had information about the history of the school. The 1989 yearbook will have Mark Andreessen's senior picture. The course requirements come from our high school course handbook that has no publishing outside the school district. One book was compiled as a history of the city of New Lisbon (Wisconsin) when the community was celebrating its centennial in 1954. The other book was designed by the Juneau County Historical Society in 1988 to preserve the history of the communities and townships of Juneau County. At the bottom of the page lists the resources that were used so I guess I don't understand the "reliable resources." Obviously, you will find these books locally in our community rather than elsewhere in the world. Perhaps if you want to view the resources, you may visit our school library and I promise you that all of these resources will be found there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nlhs1 (talkcontribs) 01:43, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
