Deletions[edit]

The past two deletions by this editor do not seem sensible, nor will they respond to my messages. Here is the most recent one .. of course mdy is appropriate, yet they deleted it. Pinging user:Fastily, who has interacted w this editor. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=New_Mexico_State_Ethics_Commission&diff=prev&oldid=1151436031 2603:7000:2101:AA00:B504:AB5D:DC04:2FA1 (talk) 03:54, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have self-reverted my edit removing the "mdy dates" template. That was an error on my part. In the future, please leave an accurate edit summary and avoid something deceptive/generic like ce when you are not making a copyedit (see WP:SUMMARYNO). I am not reverting my other edit. There is no reason to include a link to the Florida Commission on Ethics in the "see also" section when there is already a link to Ethics commission, which links many state ethics commissions. Florida and New Mexico do not have a special link, as far as I can see. If Fastily ever does show up, I urge them to take a look at the page's edit history and evaluate why two brand-new IPs have such a firm grasp on Wiki rules and policies. Thanks. Date format falls within copy edits. Why is it that you believe that the edit summary was "deceptive"? It is not a substantive edit. As to the see also issue, please see the MOS on see also's. This fits. As to IPs .. many, as mine, due to the service provider, change IPs on their own. What innappropriate matter do you imagine in your reference to a grasp on WP policies? And what is the tempest in a teapot for here? How is this a contentious issue that calls for assumptions of bad faith?--2603:7000:2101:AA00:84AB:E9D:89DC:474E (talk) 14:55, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
