I'll have this to you soon JAGUAR  15:28, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Initial comments[edit]

  • "The current house was built by Edward Rice in the Jacobean style in 1660" - link Jacobean architecture here?
  • "noted in particular for its purported ghost of Walter the Butler, a former employee whose tobacco smoke wafts through the air" - allegedly?
  • "and it was completed the following year.[5]Turrets" - space needed
  • Perhaps the caption of the image in the Architecture section could be something slightly different, like Newton House viewed from the south etc?
  • "heads in the corners". [13]" - extra space not needed (these comments are amazing, aren't they?)
  • " A billiard room was added to the house in l896" - 1896?
  • "The mature trees attract woodpecker" - a plural is needed for woodpecker

On hold[edit]

This is a well written and well researched article. I'm sure once all of the minor issues are out of the way this would easily pass. JAGUAR  17:15, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers Jaguar all addressed except woodpecker which is actually a quote. It's common to have them referred to like that I think, like beaver.♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:38, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for addressing them so quickly, this one is good to go now. The woodpecker was my mistake, I knew it shouldn't be changed! JAGUAR  20:53, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
