Last living member of the tribe? That should probably be reworded, as it's obvious the tribe assimilated into the local population. It should be "last living member practicing as a Nehantic?"

Niantic vs. Nehantic[edit]

The article was using several different names for this tribe, so I just edited the article to be consistent with the title of "Niantic." It appears that there's one specific modern-day group using "Nehantic" (note the 1998 New York Times article referenced), but that most scholars and historians use "Niantic." I am starting this as a discussion in case we have other information and want to change the article from "Niantic" to something else. Beginning (talk) 15:59, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
