No, he's not gay. He's married with a family. I've just amended the piece about whether or not Nicholas's father delivered Margaret Thatcher as I knwo Nicholas and have asked him about it myself. He says that he doesn't know if this is true.

Rocky Horror Show[edit]

He has done many turns as the Narrator in live shows of the Rocky Horror Show ... I think this worth a mention as his stage persona is so different to his everyday appearance (e.g., fish net stockings!). I'll add this in the next week or so if nobody thinks it inappropriate. Parsons presented a documentary on the Marie Antoinette watch on BBC4 and showed his own collection of clocks. Place of death[edit]

The family statement, which appears in both current sources, is: "He was with his beloved family who will miss him enormously and who wish to thank the wonderful staff at the Stoke Mandeville Hospital." He had recently spent several weeks at Stoke Mandeville Hospital before returning home,[1] so no it's not sufficient sourcing. On the other hand, The Bucks Herald is reporting this.[2] On the other hand I doubt this falls into the category of known reliable sources. When did he drop first name?[edit]

You may well be right. There could have been a Christopher Parsons already registered. However, I think it might be simpler than that. I have two cousins called Shirley Ann and Barbara Jane. The British actors' union Equity does indeed prevent new members using a name if someone else with the same name (or a similar sounding one) is already registered. see: Professional Name Protection The rule famously explains why David Walliams changed his name, as well as the "H" in Harry H. In the first chapter of his 2010 book "With Just a Touch" he says that, when he performed in "Paddy the Next Best Thing" at the Lyric Theatre, and was hoping to become "a serious actor", he deliberately put the "C." at the start of his "more usual name".
