Er... yeh. Guys, you want the page about the singer. This is about a guy with a gun who goes around killing people. 23skidoo 00:36, 18 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

And the interesting thing is, Nicky's had a longer life in fiction than even the Phantom. Began more than a hundred years ago and became the tag name for pulp literature - and he's still around for new adventures in the modern world. /Strausszek (talk) 00:19, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What about the more modern versions of Nick Carter? The character moved into espionage at some point. I remember seeing these books in the early 1980s. Carter used a Luger, a stiletto, and had a gas bomb hidden between his testicles (and no, I'm not kidding about the last bit). The authors even "named" the weapons: Whilimena (sp) was the Luger, Pierre was the knife, and Hugo was the gas bomb. Not sure how long the series actually ran, but I did see a 100 year compilation in a used book store some years back that had one of the original detective stories bundled in with two newer ones. Most of the spy stories were written in first person, as I recall.Intothatdarkness (talk) 16:46, 11 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
