"2012 TEDtalk controversy" section is incoherent and incomprehensible

The section needs to be rewritten.

"In May 2012, several online news outlets reported the TEDtalk[9] from Hanauer presented on March 1, was not chosen to be posted by TED."

Which online news outlets reported something?

What did they report?

Did they report the TEDtalk[9] from Hanauer presented on March 1?

Did they report something about the TEDtalk[9] from Hanauer presented on March 1?

If the former, what does the statement mean?

If the latter, the word "that" should be inserted. In this case, what is the meaning of the statement that it "was not chosen to be posted by TED"?

"Curator of the private organisation Chris Anderson stated that he felt Hanauer's talk was "explicitly partisan" and included "a number of arguments that were unconvincing"."

What is the private organisation Chris Anderson? Who is its curator?

I could go on.

Please replace this section with a piece written in correct English which explains something clearly. ---Dagme (talk) 01:00, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
