Comments[edit]

I made re-effective the changes I made last night. A bot deleted one of my earliest changes. This article was initially created with a long list of links that weren't connected as specific references to the information provided. Last night, I went through the article, linking specific references to support the information on the page. I then sorted the external links and removed most of them becuase they were just a jumble of random articles.

The links that were a problem for the bot are identical to links that exist in another longstanding fighter's page (Sean Sherk). I followed that page's example, assuming it was appropriate to direct people to two fan-pages for Nick Thompson, and to the Sherdog Fightfinder, which is a reliable resourse that documents fighter statistics. None of these sources act as advertisements, but rather allow people to interact with Nick directly or provide reliable information.
