I removed the reference to Nicholas Damiano, because that wasn't an alias of Nimrod. Damiano was a separate character who took in Rachel when she arrived in the past. He was killed by Selene. Nimrod's human alias was simply "Nimrod." --JamesAM 16:52, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion : Nimrod's creator[edit]

under the headline Decimation,It is mentioned nimrod was looking for its creator,Forge.Forge!why would the techno mutant create a mutant hunting super-robot??

Hence,I've changed the tine "whom the nimrod believed was its creator."

Nimrod on the cross looks like Lilith?

This doesn't really need to be added to the article, but I was just wondering if anybody saw a similarity between Nimrod on the Cross and Lilith from Neon Genesis Evangelion on the cross? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:2ndAngelLilith.jpg

It could easily be taken as a reference, considering NGE was, at the time the story was written and published, at a height of popularity and exposure in the US thanks to airings on Adult Swim. You're right in not adding it to the article, though, since it's never been explicitly stated to be a direct reference; it could just as easily be a simple Christian allegory (which, of course, was at the heart of NGE as well). -- Pennyforth 12:12, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As to Forge being Nimrod's creator. I just reread the TBP New X-Men this is referring to, and I did not get the idea that Forge created Nimrod, but rather that in a different timeline, Nimrod forced Forge to repair him by threatening Forge's wife, Ororo, and their child. Maybe I need to reread it again, and Nimrod did seem confused and incoherent at times, so maybe I missed the reference. --rbprx1204 —Preceding comment was added at 06:30, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is possible that Forge may have had a hand in creating Nimrod in the Days of Future Past timeline. In Earth 616 he did work for the government making weapons so whats to say he didn't have a hand in creating the mutant hunting machine. It's possible it was accidental or his information was stolen and used to creat Nimrod. But since we don't have a full history of Earth-811/Days of Future Past, there is no way to verify any of it. I poted in the discussion page of Days of Future Past that its long overdue for a series that explains fully what happened in that timeline. We know bits and pieces, but I think it's long overdue.
