Unnecessary tablization of filmography[edit]

per the MOS guidance on when to use tables, the table markup should only be used when presenting data in rows and columns provides an obvious benefit to the reader. Once you remove the inappropriate trivia from the old table format filmography, the remaining data is clearly and easily displayed in a simple list providing no obvious benefit to inserting the fucked up user unfriendly table mark up coding. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 16:58, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

same site and WP:FILMOGRAPHY says filmography tables are allowed. I'm going to adopt the exact format for this page too. I don't know how this list is better than a table. In my opinion (and many other people have agreed), the table is much easier and readable than this stupid list and the information IS "more clearly conveyed by virtue of having rows and columns". The more films someone do, the easier it can be conveyed through a table than through such a list, which I find totally unclear and misses out half of the information. The table on this page has even a lot more information that the list shown in the guidelines. You remove every information from the table and say its all trivia. Please explain first which is appropriate and which is inappropriate trivia and then we can decide whether to remove or not. Look again at the site you mentioned under then the point "When tables may not be appropriate". You see that's a simple list and the table below hardly makes any difference, so a table in the example is inappropriate. In this page there is a HUGE difference if you remove the table. Now I have a feeling that it is you who has not understand Wikipedia's guidelines! I agreed to remove the table from Srinivasan's site, because some other user (and not you!) said he had not won any awards yet. Now this is a notable actor with already more than a dozen films and he HAS awards to his credit, and you still go on removing it. I see you even removed the table from Ranbir Kapoor's page who has won loads of awards and I see I'm thankfully not the only one opposing your edits. and this has nothing to do with "famous" - it has to do with whether or not the material presented is best presented for the reader in format of rows and columns. Also what's it with this edit? You removed a sourced statement and say it unsourced, that is vandalism. It is very well sourced dude! And why did you remove this part: "which plots the life of a mobike and the people who've owned it"? And Pauly is a patronymic name and not a family name, that means it is his father's name, in that case the given name is used. Do read about that first!! From the notice left on your talk page, I assume this was the copyright image that you kept trying to upload, and which was deleted as a copyright violation.
Please note, we have no interest in what "The actor himself feels". This is not "his" page, it is Wikipedia's page about him, and the page will be based upon reliable independent sources say.
Please do not accuse others of "personal hatred" as you kept vandalizing the page, by trying to add this copyright image, which was repeatedly, and correctly, deleted.
Finally, from your phrase "We" and your comment about what the actor wants, it appears you may have a conflict of interest in editing this page, which you should declare on your User-page
