Lead[edit]

  • A pop ballad, the song explores → replace "the song" with "it" to avoid repetation
  • is best for the two of them → is best for both
  • a "tender" ballad and a "classic heartbreak song" → as you paraphrase here, you need the reference these claims here as well
  • It also fared well → I would change "well" with "moderately", as no real big success was registered with this song

Infobox[edit]

  • Image needs ALT
  • Is the release date 2 July or 5 June?? Please create a "Release history" section where you add the correct release date with a source
  • Genre should be only "Pop", as others are not sourced in the article's body

Background[edit]

  • her first English-language album → no "-" here
  • having co-written almost sixty songs → numbers above ten should not be written out
  • first a Spanish-language album → a Spanish language album first
  • has always been by idol → I think you want to say "my idol" here?

Composition and recording[edit]

  • is best for the two of them → is best for both

Critical reception[edit]

  • was a "seething, acoustic-guitar-based" in → was a "seething, acoustic-guitar-based" recording in
  • "It's not hard to imagine → "it's not hard to imagine

Chart performance[edit]

  • This section should be "Commercial performance"
  • No flaws here ;)

Music video[edit]

  • The accompanying music video → An accompanying music video (don't start abruptly)
  • with Shakira in many of her music videos → with Shakira for various other projects
  • whilst it was edited by → and edited by
  • falls off the track and into water beneath → no "and" here
  • Throughout the video → replace "video" with "clip" to avoid repeating yourself
  • seemingly as a metaphor for finding the strength to fly on her own → Remove this. I don't see any critic saying this, and thus it is your own opinion.
  • does not go through with it and walks away → fails and walks away

Live performances[edit]

  • I will take another look on this section after you fix the heavy repetation of "performed"; use another expressions like "sang, made an appearance..."

Track listing and formats[edit]

  • No need for "formats" in the title
  • Is there a digital download out there? If no, then remove it from the infobox

Credits and personnel[edit]

  • from the album's booklet: → from the liner notes of Fijación Oral, Vol. 1

Charts[edit]

  • Flawless ;)

Release history[edit]

  • Don't forget to create one!

Notes[edit]

  • For both notes, please remove "In English translation" with "Translation in English"

References[edit]

  • Avoid shouting in refs 13, 19, 22, 36 and 40

Other stuff[edit]

Copy-violation[edit]

Media[edit]

  • Image seems stable

References[edit]

  • As far as I checked them, the references do cover the assertations made in this article
  • No dead links! Good job!
