Fellatio joke[edit]

The article states the album title is a fellatio joke, but it doesn't seem that way to me. It's an album by every Talking Heads member besides the vocalist, so it's a pretty obvious title. Agreeent? Pesapluvo 17:09, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say both- It's "Hey this CD is Talking Heads but not really," but it can definitely be understood as a fellatio reference. Cantras 17:13, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Come on, the pun is obvious. That is what makes the title interesting. It works as a risque pun as well as a reference to the group being the Talking Heads, minus the main voice of the group - Byrne. 216.36.132.66 (talk) 19:08, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just listen to the song "No Taking, Just Head" and you'll see it's even more obvious as a reference. --Mrmoustache14 (talk) 07:33, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

nevertheless, WP is not a collection of our opinions. it would be nice to find a quotable source for this -- all i could find were parrotings of the statement here, which is somehow unsatisfactory. Doceddi (talk) 18:57, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
i've given this a few days' rest, and i still don't feel it's fitting. i mean, i like a pre-pubescent sex joke as much as the next guy, but it just feels like a total non sequitur here -- what has it got to do with the music? with the band? I'm making a commitment to check back in a couple of days, and if no good ref is forthcoming, i'm going to strike the statement. hope i don't forget.
