Potential additions of material not currently present[edit]

~~Here are some improvements I would love getting some help on (these are also included as invisible comments in the article):~~ # It would be good with sections regarding both the history of the concept of noise and the difference between noise in human judgment as described by Kahneman, Sibony and Sunstein and noise as thought of within statistics. ~~# Someone knowledgable in statistics may want to write about the following equations taken straight from Kahneman, Sibony and Sunstein (2021):~~ ~~#* Error in a single predictive measurement = Bias + Noise~~ ~~#* Overall Error (MSE) = Bias² + Noise² (MSE = Mean squared error)~~ ~~#* (System Noise)² = (Level Noise)² + (Pattern Noise)²~~ ~~#* (Pattern Noise)² = (Stable Pattern Noise)² + (Occasion Noise)²~~ ~~# In the "Detecting noise in human judgment" section it could be good to write something about what is possible and not if the judgment looked at is evaluative in nature rather than predictive.~~ ~~# Perhaps there are also other critiques that should be included.~~ ~~Tim Isaksson (talk) 07:44, 23 July 2021 (UTC)~~[reply]

Potential improvements on material already present[edit]

COI statement[edit]

Tim Isaksson has posted on his user talk page the following statement: : I work for a consultancy company that applies behavioral science, behavioral economics and nudge theory to sustainability challenges in various organizations. It is not entirely unplausible that we in the future may start offering consultancy work, and other services, related to reducing noise in human judgment.
