Promis quote[edit]

The article originally included the following paragraph:

The use of Prosecutor's Management Information System (PROMIS) software to track movements of money through the banking system. According to Salon.com, Bailey was the first to publicly acknowledge that this software had been shared with the National Security Agency and the Department of the Treasury.^[1]

There was more than one software called PROMIS. NSA had its own software called PROMIS, not related to INSLAW's Prosecutor's Management Information System. For more on this erroneous claim and the Salon article cited above, see Main Core. Rgr09 (talk) 23:00, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
