I found an article from the early 1990s mentioning a search for Loudon. He was last heard of in Englefield Green, Surrey, in the 1950s - https://www.newspapers.com/clip/110224401/walton-and-weybridge-informer/

On FreeBMD, the only recorded death of a Norman Loudon was registered in Chelsea district in March quarter of 1967. A Norman G W Loudon died at the age of 64 - https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?r=236269977:4022&d=bmd_1653949805

I looked in the 1939 England and Wales Register and it appears that the man who died in 1967 is the same Norman Loudon -
