Facilities[edit]

I revised mods by User:Fatpig73 which had a number of errors. Here are the original entries with my comments in italics. TheTrolleyPole (talk) 23:34, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • North Toronto Terminal on East side of Yonge north of CPR tracks at Birch Avenue: waiting room and shed; now LCBO parking (closed June 25, 1915; never used by NYR)
  • Glen Echo Terminal: carhouse likely not used (carhouse closed 1927 three years before NYR opening) as it was meant to store shorter single truck cars (Metropolitan line & NYR used double-truck radial cars); carhouse later became car dealership and now replaced by Loblaws store
  • Eglinton carhouse: stored cars used; partially demolished (partial demolition occurred after NYR closure)
  • Richmond Hill Terminal on Yonge east side north of Major Mackenzie Drive(located at the north-east corner of Yonge Street and Lorne Avenue according to an historic plaque on Lorne Avenue): waiting room and spur track for northbound cars to head south(spur rarely used with cars reversing on the street in front of station):; demolished ; )
