merger with North East Combined Authority?[edit]

So it appears that there will be an election for the North of Tyne in May 2019. I am proposing, unless it maintains formally existing institutions that make it distinct, that the North East Combined Authority is merged into this article. This is clearly a CA created as a response to the councils in the south of the region rejecting the deal Jonjonjohny (talk) 09:21, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree with merging - they are separate institutions. See also comment on North East CA talk page Skrcppr (talk) 02:58, 6 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Also disagree with merging. North of Tyne is only three LAs (North of Tyne), while NECA currently governs south of Tyne (and formally north). The JPStalk to me
I didn't realise that the NECA was still going to function. Then consider this discussion closed. Jonjonjohny (talk) 09:28, 9 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
