Owner[edit]

This article says that Keyspan owns the plant, but I'm pretty sure that National Grid, a UK company, bought Keyspan. Does anyone know? Noneforall (talk) 22:51, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch there. According to National Grid USA's website[1] (the US subsidiary that is wholly owned by National Grid plc), they did take ownership of KeySpan in August 2007. They mention the Northport Power Station as if they own it in a few documents [2][3] so I'd say you're right. Thanks for the heads up. I've just updated the basic ownership info. --Fife Club (talk) 02:58, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My hands are tied[edit]

I'm a National Grid employee, so I shouldn't edit this article. I don't think it's out of bounds to point out that the last update seems to have been in 2007. I believe I'm also allowed to mention on the talk page that the plant has had its pollution controls updated since that time. I'll say no more. IAmNitpicking (talk) 20:10, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
