In a letter to The Critic issue of of 1 April 2023 the writer complains of a mistake in this article. The writer believes the (unreferenced) information about the crash of the bomber is false. Apparently A J Wrottesley’s The Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway and N J L Digby’s The Stations and Structures of The Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway: Volume 2, Norwich to Peterborough and Little Bytham do not mention the incident and photographs provide no evidence of it. Can this be checked out, please? Thincat (talk) 19:47, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
