Notes on page creation[edit]

I developed this page in conjunction with the List of Nu Sigma Nu Medical Fraternity chapters. Much happened in the 1960s-1970s leading to dormancy of the national, and hence, the historical notes on the page are incomplete. My available data on chapter installations ceased in 1903, with the exception of partial data for the University of Colorado chapter. Members and interested editors may find further chapter roll information in the archives at one of the remaining chapters, or at various universities where chapters were founded. I expect that the vigorous growth period of Nu Sigma Nu continued into the early 1930s, with expansion of land grant institutions and filling in the nation's older institutions of learning.

Should someone find a better crest, with color, and even in a national version (not specific to one chapter), this would be a fine addition to the page. As would Free Use photographs of the remaining chapters. On the topic of chapters, I do not know if the Jefferson chapter (Rho) remains. One member wrote to me from another chapter, noting that Jefferson had an address visible via Google search, but the address I found, on lower Spruce, came from an old charitable group filing, and may not have been current.

I can assist with formatting and editing, if a reader finds new information but does not know how to post it. (Hmm, they may not have found this Talk page, if so.) Jax MN (talk) 14:56, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
