Maintenance tags[edit]

After I added a source to this previously unsourced BLP in response to a proposed deletion, the prodding editor, AlanS, tagged with {{BLP sources}} and {{More footnotes}}. I removed the tags, with edit summary "inappropriate tags: single inline RS supplied covers all information contained in article". That editor within a minute replaced the tags. I visited the editor's talk page and added a message roughly as appears in the paragraph below. They have continued to edit, and have not replied.

The article is one sentence long, and is referenced inline to a fully-formatted reliable source displayed in the references section. {{BLP sources}} is for BLP articles "that need additional references, and therefore in need of immediate attention": this one has no unsourced facts, so cannot need additional references. {{More footnotes}} is for articles with enough RS but with "an inappropriate combination of inline citations and general references": this article is entirely referenced inline. The two tags are incompatible with each other, and neither applies on Nurdin Bakari.

I shall again remove the tags, which are inappropriate. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 13:36, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
