Fair use rationale for Image:Ocadologo.PNG[edit]

Image:Ocadologo.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Coverage[edit]

Does anyone have any details as to the coverage offered by this service? They don't have a map on the website, but I've tried putting in various postcodes and the coverage seems quite limited, even in areas that I know have a Waitrose nearby. (Nothing in Durham, for example, which definitely has one.) 82.113.178.1 08:18, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article still lacks coverage information, but I don't know where we could get any from. A recent (November 2020) Guardian article ([1]) says "it doesn’t stretch farther north than Sunderland". But how extensive is the coverage south of Sunderland? --Zundark (talk) 21:02, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Topline description of Ocado Group[edit]

The topline description for 'Ocado Group' is out of date. The company was floated on the stock exchange in 2010. But it is not 'a chain of online supermarkets'. Ocado Group owns 50% of Ocado.com or Ocado Retail (the chain of UK online supermarkets). As this statement makes clear:'Ocado Group comprises Ocado Solutions and a 50 per cent share in Ocado Retail, a joint venture with M&S in the UK, trading as Ocado.com.'[1] I propose changing the topline description on this page to the following and removing the current statement that is 'a British online supermarket[4] that describes itself as 'the world's largest dedicated online grocery retailer'.[5] which is based on out of date references: 'Ocado Group is a UK-based grocery solutions and logistics business that licenses its technology to grocery retailers around the world. Ocado Group is admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange (Ticker OCDO) and it has a 50% joint stake in the UK online supermarket Ocado Retail or Ocado.com.' [2]
