redirect of the page is inappropriate[edit]

The "Delhi Dynamos FC" page redirects to "Odisha FC" which it should be. Delhi Dynamos should have separate page as it has, name "DELHI DYNAMOS" OR "DELHI DYNAMOS FOOTBALL CLUB". So better if the redirect link of the page is changed from "Odisha fc" link to that link I mentioned above. It will be appropriate and proper then. Seperate Pages for both Odisha FC and Former Delhi Dynamos FC[edit]

Odisha FC on their social handles, website have clearly mentioned they are a club founded in 2019. In Indian Super League website also two different entities are present one is Delhi Dynamos & another current Odisha FC. This season Odisha fc qualified for playoffs and it is their first ever playoffs, so it is clear they are not inheriting Delhi Dynamos FC record. So Both Delhi Dynamos and Odisha FC should have seperate Wikipedia articles DaDeadzombie (talk) 20:08, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Squared.Circle.Boxing @Wikiwizardinho @Lancerpark @Dhruv edits @Footy2000 @Sinan 2004 @Hemant Dabral @Billjones94 @Drat8sub @Dollarsign14 @Ken Tony please have a look on this. @Silverdragon3002 DaDeadzombie (talk) 20:18, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I would support this because I myself have been meaning to start a discussion on this topic but never got a chance to present it. An independent and separate article for both entities can also be expanded significantly, especially in the case of Odisha, as they would also play in the future seasons. But this should only take place when we have reached a general consensus. Ken Tony Shall we discuss? 20:33, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Absolutely, no need of such thing. These are not separate entity but one is just the renamed version of another. That's why the page was moved not splited. Here, here and here clearly mention this is renamed, unlike FC Pune City which is dissolved and replaced by Hyderabad FC, so no question arise for a different page. yeah, two different pages of the article should be made. cause Odisha FC have mentioned they are a club founded in 2019, and they are not inheriting Delhi Dynamos records. Also ISL page clearly mentions this as 2 different clubs 103.249.7.100 (talk) 05:00, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

NOTE: Don't claim anything and everything without a source. Odisha FC clearly inherit Delhi Dynamos records, in their History section of website that clearly says, "We began life as the Delhi Dynamos in the Indian Super League.". Does not matter a club is established with new name (like Mohun Bagan and East Bengal which were established with different names for sporsorship reasons) but if they say we are continuation of the previous than there is no need for different page for same entity.Drat8sub (talk) 13:31, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
