The assertion that the Ohalo site pushes back the beginning point of the Neolithic Revolution is controversial - it does show evidence of early cereals collection and consumption, but not the domestication of these wild cereals, which is the hallmark of the "neolithic revolution" theorem. After looking over the sources cited, I don't think any of them would make this bold claim either - it seems to me just an oversimplification of the significance of the find.
