Der Veker and Oktyabr[edit]

I've been a bit confused about the relation between Der Veker (Minsk) and Oktyabr, whether to merge or keep two separate articles... Several sources describe it as the same newspaper, others describe that Oktyabr replaced Der Veker in 1925. It seems that there was some or significant continuity in the editorial team, albeit I can't reference it at this point. However, for me the decisive point came from https://books.google.com/books?id=UxZwmrQL_3EC&pg=PA136, which indicates that around 1941 there had been a 15th anniversary celebration of Oktyabr - meaning that Oktyabr was conceptualized as a new publication altogether. --Soman (talk) 18:01, 3 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
