Bulldog City as we knew it was protected from the outside by four buildings surrounding the old flagstone court yard. Home of the Bulldog statue for decades. A melting pot of backgrounds as diverse as the colors in a box of crayons. We worked together, played together and grew together. United in green and white, proud of our heritage, proud of our school and proud of our achievements. Committed to excellence, lead by Dr. Wright. Dancing to George Jones or the Rolling Stones. Powered by Mustang and GTO. From Sandia Crest to the Rio Grande and beyond, we were the Bulldogs and we were alive, vibrant and ready to meet the challange.

I graduated in 1965, you can find me if you look in La Reata, You will know me by what I wrote.

"The center of the trendy East Downtown (EDo) area of Albuquerque"? This area is just a few blocks north of a decaying barrio around Broadway and Lead/Coal. Renovation and revitalization is slow in this area; hopefully revitalization doesn't simply mean developers buying the neighborhoods, razing them, and replacing them with buildings the previous tenants couldn't hope to afford.
