Query[edit]

How did Columba manage to found a monastery at Old Deer in 719 when he died in 597? Pretty nifty. Manannan67 (talk) 22:43, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bonnie Dundee[edit]

A blog post by 'Grey Granite' claims that a former minster, Arthur Ranken (1806-1886) had the remains of 'Bonnie Dundee' dug up and buried under Old Deer church. I heard the same story when I visited the church in 1999 but is there any evidence for it? 2A00:23C4:5602:2301:C460:EDB6:DEAA:14B3 (talk) 20:41, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
