I tidied up the summary section. Like most plays of Pinter, all we can be sure of is what happens on stage. It is very difficult to talk about what is going on in characters' minds, their motivations, and so on. For example, I took out a comment that Anna has a crush on Kate. That's one interpretation, but by no means the only one. She could just be concerned about her old friend, and how unhappy her old friend is in her marriage and her life. Comments like that really belong in the "interpretation" section, not the summary section. Also, the summary section should probably mention the film "Odd Man Out", it is referred to several times in the play, with several different stories of the first time Deeley say Odd Man Out.--KEVP 2/5/12 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 35.12.24.63 (talk) 14:17, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
