Some ideas:

  • Saw in this dissertation: http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/216879739 that Olive Tjaden was the the 27th female member of the American Institute of Architects
  • This would be a nice external link: Chronicle obit
  • and of course! the finding guide
  • Appears to be a portrait of Olive Tjaden here (have requested scan via Doc Delivery): 1941. "Portrait." Architect & Engineer 146, 57.

OLIVE J. TJADEN per NYT[edit]

[1] Is this just some sort of misprint, or is there some confusion about her name that should be mentioned? This [2] says Olive Tjaden VanSickle. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 12:10, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also, based on the sources I can access, it seems the WP:COMMONNAME of this article should be Olive Tjaden. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 12:16, 4 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

For what it's worth, her middle name is given in her college yearbook[1]. But yes, she generally went by Olive Tjaden (without Frances).--~~~~ Unionpearl (talk) 09:57, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
