Untitled[edit]

a victory was dedicated to Olof Mellberg when he was playing in a game aginst feirce rivals Birmingham city. Svage dedicated the win to Mellberg.

Where's the source for the Pearce quote? Who says Distin is the best player in the air?

Maybe you should mention that he is captain of the Swedish national team as well? Kronocide 01:38, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

needs to be changed asap[edit]

"In 2005 he was named by Manchester City F.C. manager Stuart Pearce as "the best player in England" following a series of outstanding displays under his under-fire coach David O'Leary. His aerial presence is second only to Sylvain Distin, while his attacking flair is often overestimated. Although he is still a goal scoring virgin, O'Leary has stuck by his central defender, rushing him forward for set pieces."

POV and I'm quite sure Pearce never actually said that. Yonatanh 05:59, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mellberg, there's only one mellberg etc etc ... Favourite Villa player - and I've still got the shirt he gave to all Villa fans on last game at West Ham "thanks 4 your support" - I love watching football because of players like this.

Youtube videos[edit]

Hi. Please do not add Youtube videos from random channels to articles like you did at Olof Mellberg and Gabriel Agbonlahor, for example. Per Wikipedia:Verifiability, inline citations (Wikipedia:Inline citation) are used to back claims made in an article. Videos from random YouTube channels are not reliable sources (WP:RS). I can see how it might be interesting to view the goals mentioned in an article but Wikipedia does not work this way. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 00:05, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please follow Wikipedia procedures if you intend to quote Wikipedia procedures at another user. Your original message should have be added to the article talk page, not my personal talk. JorgeLaArdilla (talk) 07:12, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@JorgeLaArdilla: This was not about the content of any specific article but about your editing across multiple articles. So the appropriate place to contact you was your Talk page. See WP:OWNTALK. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:38, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The specific article is Gabriel Agbonlahor Olof Mellberg where you removed content.JorgeLaArdilla (talk) 11:15, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@JorgeLaArdilla: I'm sorry but this is silly, it's not just about the Agbonlahor article. You quoted my initial message above. Do I really need to repeat it? Robby.is.on (talk) 11:17, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
