[edit]

A paid editor made contributions to this article, and has disclosed that fact on this page, therefore the paid contributions template is a matter of fact and does not require discussion. Beyond My Ken (talk) 13:41, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

According to the policy "if you place the Paid tag, you should promptly start a discussion on the article's talk page to explain what is non-neutral about the article." As a paid editor I'm not allowed to remove the tag myself, but if any volunteer editor thinks that the neutral point of view of the article is ok, they are free to remove the tag as told in the Template:Paid contributions instructions: "If you do not start this discussion, then any editor is justified in removing the tag without warning."Jjanhone (talk) 17:13, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not misquote. That is nt "policy", those are the template's instructions, which are not policy. The only things that are pilicy are those things which have been approved to be policy by the Wikiedia community. The template instructions have not been so they are not "policy", they are a guideline for the use of the template. Beyond My Ken (talk) 19:50, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Beyond My Ken: As you revert my edit let me explain. You added paid contributor template to article without problem in the article content. In this particular case edit was adding the infobox which you checked as you added the diff to the talkpage. Please remove restore my edit and remove the problem template or explain rationale why it should stay. --Zache (talk) 19:45, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The article has been edited by a paid editors, therefore the 'pad contributions" template is justified. Some editors seem to feel that putting the template on the article requires starting a discussion. I do not agree, but I started one anyway, this very thread. Therefore the requirements of the template have been met. Beyond My Ken (talk) 19:48, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I dont see how you answered what kind of content is in this change which would require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. If there is no need for the cleanup i will remove the template. Zache (talk) 14:42, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the paid content tag as where were no other added content than infobox and no rationale for the problems were given. --Zache (talk) 17:51, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
