COI[edit]

I have submitted this article for independent review because I have a conflict of interest under WP:COI. I am a paid consultant to Alien Vault, the company that runs the Open Threat Exchange. I am an experienced Wikipedia editor, journalist and academic. I am committed to all policies on disclosure, notability, a neutral point of view, no advocacy, no marketing or PR WP:NOT, verifiability, independent reliable sources, no original research. Requested Update and Review[edit]

As disclosed about I have a WP:COI as a paid consultant to AlienVault. I am committed to the five pillars of Wikipedia, and am an experienced Wikipedia editor. Where I have a conflict, I always ask that my work be independently reviewed and approved.

I propose the following updates in the "Components" section:

"In 2016, AlienVault released a new version of OTX allowing participants to create private communities and discussions groups to share information on threats only within the group. The feature is intended to facilitate more in-depth discussions on specific threats, particular industries, and different regions of the world. Threat data from groups can also be distributed to subscribers of managed service providers using OTX."[1]
