Order of St. George (disambiguation)Order of Saint George (disambiguation) – "Saint" more common (and more correct) in the names Chicbyaccident (talk) 19:57, 5 May 2016 (UTC) --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 02:43, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per WP:COMMONNAME and MOS:ABBR. Someone might oppose, with "per WP:CONCISE", but they'd be wrong. "Concise" does not mean "as short as humanly possible", and if something requires more brain-power to read and parse in abbreviated form than long form, it is actually less concise effectively.  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  07:23, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per MOS:ABBR - "Saint[e]" versus "St" or "St." in placenames should depend upon the official usage." As the official usage is more often "St.", there's no reason to change this page. As for saying that something in long form is more concise than short form because less brain power is required - I actually laughed when I read that; if you can find some hard facts to back up that assertion, great; otherwise, please don't make ridiculous arguments and pretend that they're logical.
