B-Side/Demo/Extra Mixes[edit]

I've gotten my hands on this release out of sheer curiosity of the extra unreleased tracks as I already own pretty much all other releases with the relevant B-sides included in the boxset.

As I checked the tracks one by one (apart from the studio albums) I've started to notice differences in their sounds from the sheer vivid memories I have of the original releases/masterings of these extra tracks and after digging them up from my archive I compared and it does seem like pretty much every previously released track other than the albums has been "clearly" remastered for Origin of Muse with some tracks being more noticeable than others. Some of the most relevant examples would include: Host (Cave), Forced In (Uno), Map of Your Head (New Born) and Nature_1 (Plug In Baby). I sadly can't provide previews of either versions as of now, but I'll try to upload short previews of relevantly different tracks in the future to try and prove this.

Given that information, is it possible to add such information to the article reflecting said changes of the rest of the re-released tracks? Or would it not be appropriate to add it given that neither the press or the band has stated that the rest of the songs have been remastered? Then again, they probably haven't mentioned it because B-sides aren't particularly worth marketing as remasters in situations like these in my opinion.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, we can't use original research on Wikipedia (see WP:OR). It would be good to add this information to the article, but it would need to come from a reliable independent source, such as an article from Rolling Stone or the BBC or something (see WP:VER). I completely understand the thing about original research which is why I quickly decided to open the thread and ask right away as I am not daring to edit the article without outside proof. I have low expectations about finding such information due to the lack of importance these tracks have but I'll see what I can do to certify it.
