I strongly doubt that it is a keris as I've found no evidence of a style of keris distinct to Mentawai culture and secondly I have some reservations on how the blade is being held in this photo. Thanks for pointing it out in the Kris article too. Jeblat (talk) 03:51, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
