Article name[edit]

Shouldn't the article be titled 'Pallet inverter'? 82.24.183.21 (talk) 14:51, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A Pile Turner is by its very name different from a pallet inverter. If it was the same as a pallet inverter than it would be called a pallet inverter. It operates in a different way to a pallet inverter in that it also tips backwards on its rotational axis. Therefore to differentiate it from a pallet inverter which does not do this it should remain as a separate article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Optima6 (talkcontribs) 08:58, 3 February 2010 (UTC) Also if you look to the major manufacturers who happen to produce both pallet inverters and pile turners you will notice that they in turn refer to each machine type seperately and so do not have a common name for both as they are different and would be sold into specific industries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.134.59.57 (talk) 08:40, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Pallet inverters & Pile turner are different names for the same thing, and really should not have separate articles. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 16:09, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The above is incorrect a pallet inverter is different from a pile turner see text above as to the reasons for this.
